DISD 5K for Kindness & Fun Run/Walk

On Saturday, May 1, 2027, Denison ISD invites runners of all ages to participate in its 12th Annual 5K for Kindness & 1 Mile Fun Run at the vibrant campus of Denison High School. This beloved community event aims to unite families and foster a spirit of generosity through athletic participation. The race course winds around scenic pathways within the school grounds, offering runners picturesque views of blooming spring landscapes.
Proceeds from this year’s run will support three important initiatives: the Rachel Ramer Scholarship, which provides educational opportunities for deserving students; the Denison Education Foundation, dedicated to enhancing learning experiences across all district schools; and the Boys and Girls Club of Denison, a cornerstone organization offering after-school programs that empower youth. Join in on May 1st to celebrate community spirit while contributing to these meaningful causes.
Participants can look forward to an engaging day filled with family-friendly activities and a strong sense of camaraderie as they help make a difference through their participation.
