Dirty Reiver EPIC 2027

The Dirty Reiver, presented by GRAVELKING, is set to redefine endurance cycling with its 2027 edition. This year’s highlight is the introduction of an ambitious 280km Epic option that promises to be a defining moment for this beloved UK gravel event.
Riders will embark on their journey in the early hours before dawn, tackling some of the wildest and most challenging border roads between England and Scotland. The route offers a unique twist: it’s designed as a Paired Event, where two cyclists form one team. Together they’ll face the rugged terrain and scenic landscapes that define this course.
While sharing the same event expo with participants in other categories, these teams will have their own distinct journey before converging to join the established 200km route of The Dirty Reiver. This fusion creates a seamless experience for both solo and paired riders, culminating at the finish line where all competitors celebrate together.
The atmosphere is electric as pairs work in harmony, pushing each other through grueling climbs and exhilarating descents across varied terrain. With limited entries available, this event promises to be an exclusive adventure that tests resilience and teamwork on some of Britain’s most captivating gravel roads.
This epic journey invites cyclists who are ready for a remarkable challenge where the beauty of the landscape is matched only by the camaraderie forged along the way.
