About the Event

Calling all the dinosaurs! Fun annual Dino Dash celebrating Dinah Soar Hot Air Balloon Days! Dino Dash August 28th. 7:30 pm! -Race starts at Main Street and 100 W. Check in @ 6:30pm-7:15pm (Grand Valley Bank). Medals will be given to all registered participants BEFORE the dash so make sure to check in! -TO BE CONSIDERED FOR BEST COSTUME AND PRIZES- be at the starting line at 7:15 pm. Race starts @ 7:30pm (run less than .5 of a mile) down Main Street. Best costume wins a hot air balloon ride for two (weather permitting). Hot air balloon prize will be based on costume creativity. -Live band! Dress like a dinosaur! All ages encouraged to participate! How many dinosaurs can we get?! -IF YOU ARE A PARENT RUNNING WITH A YOUNGER CHILD, PLEASE STILL HAVE SOME KIND OF DINO COSTUME ON. WE WOULD LIKE EVERYONE IN THE DASH TO BE A DINOSAUR! If you would like- be a part of the Guinness Attempt for a World Record for the most dinosaurs in one place! This will take place BEFORE the race, and will be run differently than last year.
