Diams Rock

On November 1, 2026, the vibrant island of Martinique will host its annual Trail Tour Championship featuring an array of challenging courses that blend coastal beauty with mountainous terrain. The highlight is the Diam's Rock course, a grueling 25-kilometer trail that ascends over 1,200 meters in elevation, offering runners breathtaking views as they traverse rugged paths and steep climbs.
For those seeking a more moderate challenge, Sam Rock presents an equally scenic yet less daunting route at 19 kilometers with nearly 1,000 meters of ascent. This course also showcases the island's diverse landscapes, from lush forests to rocky outcrops overlooking the ocean.
The shorter courses cater to all ages and skill levels. The Sam’s Trail, a manageable 12-kilometer loop with just over 350 meters of elevation gain, is perfect for trail runners looking for a challenging but achievable distance. Meanwhile, Ti Sam offers families an opportunity to enjoy nature together on its gentle 5-kilometer route that climbs only slightly more than 100 meters.
Participants will have the chance to explore the iconic Diamant region’s trails and discover why it is beloved by both locals and visitors alike for its stunning combination of sea and mountain vistas. The event, organized in collaboration with the Martinique Athletics League and the Committee for Tourism, promises an unforgettable day on one of Martinique's most scenic routes.
Registration opens online at performanskaraib.net until October 24, providing runners ample time to prepare for this unique adventure through some of the island’s finest natural landscapes. The Diam's Rock Trail Tour is a must-attend event for trail running enthusiasts and nature lovers alike, offering an immersive experience in one of Martinique’s most picturesque settings.
The courses are open to participants aged 20 years or older for all distances except Sam’s Trail which welcomes runners from the age of 16. The family-friendly Ti Sam course is accessible even to young children starting at just six years old, making this event suitable for a wide range of ages and abilities.
