This monumental non-stop event covers 112 miles from Wembury on the south coast to Lynmouth in the north, traversing the entire county of Devon and crossing both Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks within a 38-hour time limit. In addition to the full ultra, the weekend offers three segmented distances: a 75km Dartmoor crossing, a 100km Exmoor finale, and an Exmoor Marathon, making the iconic route accessible to a wide range of endurance runners and walkers. Requiring self-navigation along the waymarked trail, the journey is fully supported with stocked checkpoints offering hot food and drinks, plus mandatory live GPS tracking for safety across the remote moorland terrain. As a South West Trident qualifier and a true test of stamina, skill, and mental fortitude, the 2026 anniversary edition promises to be a particularly special undertaking. Wembury is a village on the south coast of Devon, England, very close to Plymouth Sound. Wembury is located south of Plymouth. Wembury is also the name of the peninsula in which the village is situated. The village lies in the administrative district of the South Hams within the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). The South West Coast Path goes past the coastal end of the town.
