Devil's Trail - Rijk van Nijmegen

The early part of the route features several steep ascents that will test your endurance against nature's terrain. As you progress along the trails, prepare to encounter numerous elevation changes designed to keep runners engaged throughout their adventure. The autumn foliage in late October transforms the forest into a vibrant tapestry of yellows and reds, enhanced by an abundance of mushrooms, chestnuts, and captivating vistas.
Whether you're a seasoned trail runner or new to the sport, this event offers a unique blend of natural beauty and technical challenges that make it stand out. The course is meticulously crafted with varying terrain including hills, elevation gains, and single-track paths, ensuring there's always something interesting around each bend.
Upon crossing the finish line, participants will be greeted by generous post-race amenities such as sports tape, sweets, bananas, chips, fruits, and more. A special local beer or organic juice awaits to help you cool down after your efforts. Additionally, all runners receive a complimentary finisher's medal (free for early registrants), while electronic timing provides personalized video highlights, certificates, and insightful race statistics.
Proceeds from the event include a contribution of €1 per participant towards Staatsbosbeheer, supporting conservation efforts in Dutch forests.
