About the Event

Set against the lush backdrop of the forests surrounding Malden, the annual De Bosloop Malden offers runners an enchanting experience on November 1st, 2026. This scenic race features various distances to cater to all levels of participants: a fun-filled 500m Bambinoloop for young children up to age 12, as well as challenging courses at 2km, 5km, 10km, and the longest distance being 15 kilometers.
The event is designed with inclusivity in mind; children aged 12 or younger participating in either the Bambinoloop or the 2-kilometer run can enter for free. Pre-registration opens until October 30th, 2026, and spots are limited on a first-come-first-served basis.
For local elementary school students within Heumen municipality, there's an added incentive in the form of the MTM Kidsrun, part of which is aimed at boosting participation among schools. The winning institution will be awarded the prestigious Scholenbokaal based on the number of participating pupils from their respective schools.
The race courses wind through picturesque forest paths and open fields, offering runners a mix of terrain that includes gentle hills and flat stretches, providing both challenge and beauty along every step.
