About the Event

On October 18, 2026, the bustling city of Niterói will host an inclusive running and walking festival along its scenic coastal avenues. Participants can choose from three engaging options: a challenging 10 km run, a more relaxed 5 km race for those looking to explore at their own pace, or a leisurely 2.5 km walk designed for all ages.
The event kicks off early in the morning with staggered start times beginning around 6:30 AM from Praça Luis Gomes da Silva near Av. Alm. Tamandaré in Piratininga. The race route winds through picturesque neighborhoods and offers stunning views of Guanabara Bay, providing runners with a blend of urban energy and natural beauty.
Competitors will enjoy hydration stations every 2 kilometers along the course, ensuring that everyone stays refreshed throughout their run or walk. Race officials also provide portable toilets at key locations for added convenience.
Registration is available exclusively through the Ticket Sports app, where participants can secure spots in advance before prices increase with each subsequent lot release. The race organizers emphasize that entries are personal and non-transferable unless within specific timeframe rules set by the event.
All finishers will receive a commemorative medal to mark their achievement, while top performers across various age categories will be awarded trophies for their impressive feats. This family-friendly event promises an energetic atmosphere with plenty of support from fellow runners and enthusiastic spectators lining the course.
For more details on kit collection and other logistics, follow the official Instagram account where updates are regularly posted leading up to race day.
