DERWENT VALLEY 10KM

The event starts at Blaydon Rugby Club in Swalwell, where participants will embark on a varied course that includes both challenging terrain and serene stretches along the riverbank. The route is designed not only for those who are seasoned trail runners but also welcomes newcomers to this exhilarating sport looking for their first adventure.
Dogs are welcome to join the fun as part of the canicross-friendly event, with one well-controlled dog permitted per runner. Participants must ensure that their pets are comfortable running 10km and behave appropriately around other runners while on a leash at all times.
All participants will be equipped with live chip timing provided by Timing Up North for accurate results. Upon crossing the finish line, every runner will receive a bespoke event medal, Wild Deer merchandise, as well as refreshments to enjoy after their run.
For those who want to remember this memorable day in style, custom event T-shirts can be added during registration at £14 each.
