Denali50K

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Alaska's towering Denali Mountain, the Denali50K offers runners an unparalleled adventure on one of North America’s most scenic roads. Scheduled for June 19, 2027, this race invites endurance athletes to traverse a historic gravel road that once served as the sole route into Denali National Park.
Starting at Maclaren Summit—Alaska's third highest pass—the course descends through stunning glacial landscapes and past ancient kettle lakes left by Ice Age glaciers. Runners will encounter sweeping vistas of the majestic Alaska Range, with panoramic views reaching out for miles in every direction under the long daylight hours typical of summer solstice.
The Denali50K is limited to just 50 runners who must qualify through previous marathon experience or receive a waiver from the race director. Support crews are welcome but no pacers allowed. The course features one aid station at Clearwater Creek Wayside, offering essential supplies before the final push westward towards Alpine Creek Lodge.
Upon crossing the finish line, participants will be greeted with well-deserved refreshments and camaraderie among fellow adventurers who have conquered this challenging yet rewarding terrain. For those looking to extend their adventure, registration for the Denali100K begins at Alpine Creek Lodge immediately after finishing the 50K course.
