Deeping Race Events 2027

On May 16, 2027, runners of all ages are invited to participate in Deeping Rotary Club's annual races: the Deepings Rotary 10K and the Deeping 3K Fun Run. Both events start at Deepings Rugby Club in PE6 8NJ.
The 10K race begins promptly at 10:30 am, offering a flat course ideal for setting personal bests. With full marshaling and medical support along the way, runners will enjoy scenic open roads leading to a water station at The Goat Public House around the halfway mark before returning to the Rugby Club finish line where bottled water awaits.
For younger participants or those looking for a more relaxed experience, the 3K Fun Run kicks off earlier in the morning at 9:30 am. This shorter route features a mix of playing fields and open roads, ensuring it's accessible and enjoyable for all ages and abilities.
Both races provide chip timing with instant results available upon crossing the finish line. Participants can also collect their bibs and chips from Open Door Baptist Church Hall near the Rugby Club entrance before heading out to enjoy the event’s lively atmosphere and scenic surroundings.
After completing either race, runners are encouraged to stick around at Deepings Rugby Club for refreshments and a ceremony where individual and team prizes will be awarded. All finishers receive commemorative mementos celebrating their achievement on this special day in May.
Participants should arrive early—registration opens at 8:00 am for the 10K race and 8:30 am for the Fun Run—to collect bibs, safety pins, and emergency contact forms. Parking is available at Deepings School Car Park, just a short walk from the Rugby Club.
Remember to stay alert on open roads by following marshal instructions and keeping earphones off except for bone-conducting ones. Join us in celebrating this community event filled with scenic routes and friendly competition!
