Danena Klasiko, 1976an Zizurkilen (Gipuzkoa) sortu zen bizikleta taldearen, Danena txirrindulari taldearen, omenez antolatu da; herri txiki hartan sortu zen talde xume hark, gaur egun oraindik bizirik dirauen ziklismo-kulturaren hazi sendoa jarri zuen.
Horregatik, Zikloturista martxa hau, belaunaldiak batu, ondarea ospatu eta etorkizunari bultzada emateko modu ere bada.
