Join us for a fun, high-energy, fun-packed day focused on community, health, and youth achievement! Designed specifically for young athletes of all skill levels, the Crystal Coast Kid’s Triathlon offers a safe and supportive environment for kids to swim, bike, and run their way to the finish line.
FYI, this event happens right after our annual Indoor Triathlon: Kids over 13 and Parents are invited to participate in that event in the morning. Register here: https://runsignup.com/crystalcoastindoortri/
Whether your child is a seasoned competitor or trying their very first multi-sport event, this race emphasizes participation, confidence, and personal achievement. Every finisher crosses the line as a champion!
To keep the event safe and age-appropriate, participants are split into waves by age group:
Takes place in the pool at The GYM. All swimming styles and strokes are welcome—including the doggy paddle! Full water safety staff will be on duty throughout the event. If your child gets tired, they are welcome to slow down, stop, or rest at any time before continuing.
Bikers will head out to the scenic Cape Carteret Trail. Helmets are strictly required and must be buckled before exiting the transition area. Volunteer course marshals and staff will guide turns and control driveway traffic. No headphones or earbuds, period.
A flat, clearly marked route along the Cape Carteret Trail, fully lined with volunteers to cheer on and direct participants toward the finish line. No headphones or earbuds, period. Walking is always permitted.
To maintain small group safety and individual attention, registration is capped at 48 total participants (8 athletes per wave). Spots will fill quickly, so be sure to secure your child’s spot early!
