Welcome to Crossasaurus Awesome, where racers of all levels are invited to test their skills on challenging and scenic courses. This unique cyclocross race is set within the picturesque Upper Salford Township park, offering participants an unforgettable experience. The event provides a variety of races for different skill levels, including a single-speed CX race that promises thrilling competition. Early registration can save you $5 if you're racing in multiple categories, and online pre-registration is encouraged to avoid additional fees on the day of the event. Same-day registration is available from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm at the registration table. For U19 girls, there's a special treat—registration for this age group comes free! Spread the word among your friends and help grow the sport. The race course will be open for inspection starting at 8:00 am. Racers should gather in the Rider Assembly Area/Start Grid ten minutes before their scheduled start time to ensure they're ready to go. The event is a USA Cycling sanctioned race, so all participants must present valid licenses and sign release forms (minors need parental consent). Course conditions can change rapidly due to weather, but lapped riders will follow the leaders on the same lap. Racers in danger of being overtaken should yield to competitors and avoid impeding their progress. Post-race results are posted at the registration area immediately after each race concludes. The top three finishers from every category must report to the start/finish line for awards and photos within 15 minutes post-result posting. Verge Custom Cycling Apparel, a new sponsor this year, is offering special prizes: Victory Credits redeemable for custom kits or discounts on team orders. This offer is open to all riders regardless of their brand affiliation. Cash prizes are available in various categories, ensuring that winners receive fair and generous rewards. Please note that mountain bikes without bar ends will be allowed; however, aero bars are strictly prohibited. Race start times may vary slightly due to preceding events, with each race commencing ten minutes after the previous one concludes. For those warming up on course during an event, disqualification is inevitable—no exceptions! Crossasaurus Awesome welcomes everyone and takes inclusivity seriously. Participants must adhere to a simple rule: "Be nice." Any form of hate or disrespect will not be tolerated in this grassroots cycling community. Should any medical emergencies arise, dial 911 immediately. A first-aid kit is available on-site for minor injuries, with EMTs present throughout the event.
