CORRIDA SÃO SEBASTIÃO

On January 17, 2027, runners of all ages and abilities will converge on Afonso Cláudio for the annual Trail Run Festival. The race begins at the historic Igreja Católica Matriz located on Praça Adherbal Galvão in the city center.
Participants can choose from several distances: a family-friendly kids' run, a scenic 5km course through charming streets and parks, an exhilarating 10km route with rolling hills, or the challenging 24km trail adventure that winds through rugged terrain. The event promises stunning vistas of the local landscape as runners navigate winding trails and enjoy breathtaking views.
Registration fees vary depending on when you sign up: early bird rates start at just R$99 for the first hundred registrants, followed by standard pricing tiers until race day. Each participant will receive a personalized bag filled with goodies such as a custom event t-shirt, number bib, coquetel glass, and additional branded items from sponsors.
Kit pickup is available in advance during specified hours at Elite Sports Shop or on race morning near the starting line for those running longer distances like 24km. For safety reasons, all trail runners must carry essential gear including a hydration pack with a minimum capacity of 1.5 liters, an emergency first aid kit complete with basic medical supplies and a fully charged mobile phone.
The day kicks off at dawn as hardy trail enthusiasts set out on the longest route through verdant forests and challenging climbs before others join in later for shorter distances around town. Whether you're tackling trails or taking part in family fun activities, this event offers something special for everyone to enjoy amidst the picturesque surroundings of Afonso Cláudio.
Join us for an unforgettable day celebrating running and community spirit!
