Connors Claims Ultra

Embark on the 7th Annual Connor’s Claims Ultra and immerse yourself in the rugged terrain where General Patrick Connor and his soldiers once staked mining claims. This challenging race takes place on May 22, 2027, offering runners a breathtaking journey through steep roads, towering peaks, and gnarly ATV trails.
The 50-mile course is an epic adventure that ascends the historic Gisbourne Toll Road, winds through Jacob City Ruins, and traverses Dry Canyon. You'll face five substantial climbs ranging from 2,000 to 3,300 feet each, including a double ascent of Porphyry Hill at 8,716 feet. The route also includes the Lion Hill Loop Trail and descents along Chandler Fork and the Gibson Toll Road.
For those seeking a more moderate challenge, the 50k course offers three major climbs with stunning views of the Oquirrh Mountains. This route features Soldier Canyon, Bald Mountain East at 10,006 feet, and a thrilling descent down to Commodore Pass before ascending again to Bald Mountain West at 9,626 feet.
The half-marathon provides an intense yet manageable experience, with runners tackling steep OHV trails and the historic Gisbourne Toll Road. The highlight is the ascent of Bald Mountain West, offering panoramic vistas over Rush Valley.
