Coast to Coast Race

Embark on an epic journey across Crete with the Ierápetra Coast to Coast Challenge. Scheduled for March 21, 2027, this race connects Pachia Ammos on the north coast to Ierápetra in the south, a route that spans over 21 kilometers for half-marathoners and shorter options for all ages. The course winds through Crete's narrowest isthmus, offering breathtaking views of both the Aegean Sea at the start and the Libyan Sea at the finish.
Runners will experience an exhilarating blend of landscapes from Zorba the Greek’s homeland—rolling hills, rugged cliffs, and picturesque villages. As you push your limits along this straight-line route cutting through two imposing mountains, every kilometer reveals a new vista that tourists rarely glimpse, making it truly memorable.
The atmosphere in Ierápetra is electric as participants cross the finish line, greeted by local flavors like world-renowned Cretan olive oil and dakos. Post-race celebrations continue with family-friendly activities exploring nearby gorges or enjoying frappé coffee at a seaside café.
Join this legendary race for more than just a footrace; it’s an adventure to etch your name in running history.
