About the Event

Experience the historic charm of Downtown Stuart on March 6, 2027, as you join runners and walkers for the 10th Annual Sailfish Sprint. This scenic race is part of the broader Marathon of the Treasure Coast festivities.
The event kicks off at Memorial Park in the heart of downtown with a vibrant atmosphere that invites friends and family to cheer on participants aiming for personal bests. The course winds through some of Stuart's most historic neighborhoods, offering runners stunning views along the way.
Participants can choose between two distances: a 5K run or a longer 10K option. Both routes feature water stations strategically placed at key points throughout the race. For those looking to stay hydrated and fueled beyond just water, organizers recommend bringing your own supplies for additional support during the event.
Upon crossing the finish line, all participants will receive an awesome medal as well as a souvenir tech shirt guaranteed only to the first 300 registered runners who sign up before February 20, 2027. Age group awards are also available at the conclusion of each race distance.
Packet pickup is conveniently offered on Friday from noon until 6:00pm at the 10th Street Community Center located in Stuart or alternatively on Saturday starting at 6am for those who prefer to pick up their packets right before the event.
In addition to the main races, there are exciting opportunities for younger participants with a half-mile Kids Dash and an inclusive Walk 4H2O one mile walk, both of which aim to raise funds for Water for South Sudan. The kids race starts at 8:00am in the Shuffleboard Parking Lot near Memorial Park while the Walk 4H2O begins promptly at 7:30am.
