The race begins at dawn with the parathletes taking to the starting line at 5:50 AM. This is followed by elite runners in both men's and women's divisions at 5:55 AM, setting an early morning spectacle of speed and agility. The general public then joins in at 6:00 AM for a mass start that energizes the city with a wave of athletic enthusiasm.
While specific details about the course are yet to be announced on the official website (www.circuitocaixa.com), participants can expect scenic routes through Brasília's vibrant neighborhoods, offering glimpses of both modern architecture and lush green spaces. The race is open to all genders and welcomes runners in any weather conditions, ensuring that no matter what nature brings, the spirit of competition remains unbroken.
Safety measures are a top priority, with medical support provided throughout the event by ambulance teams and emergency services on site. Additionally, free baggage storage is available for participants but organizers advise against leaving valuable items behind.
Registration opens exclusively online at www.circuitocaixa.com where entrants can secure their spot in one of several categories including elite runners who must meet specific performance criteria, age-group competitors, CAIXA employees (Economiário), and parathletes with special accommodations. The event is a celebration of athletic achievement set against the backdrop of Brazil's capital city.
