ROSA CHOCK - ETAPA VIOLÊNCIA CONTRA A MULHER

On December 27, 2026, the Run for Respect and Inclusion returns to Goiânia's Praça de Lourdes, Setor Jaó. This powerful event aims to raise awareness about violence against women while promoting health, sport, and social inclusion through a series of runs and walks.
The day kicks off at 4:00 AM with the first wave start for the relay race covering 21 kilometers per team member, followed by the second wave starting at 6:30 AM. Solo participants in the half marathon take off at 4:30 AM, with a three-hour time limit to complete their 21-kilometer journey.
At 6:20 AM, the event welcomes runners for the 5K race, offering separate start times for men and women. Participants are encouraged to wear bracelets bearing names of inspirational women as part of a moment of silence honoring victims of violence at the beginning of each wave.
The scenic route winds through Goiânia's vibrant neighborhoods, providing breathtaking views of local landmarks and parks. As runners cross the finish line, they will have contributed not only to their personal fitness goals but also to an important cause that resonates deeply with communities across Brazil.
Registration for this impactful event opens on May 11, 2026, and closes December 20, 2026, or earlier if capacity is reached. With a mix of competitive spirit and heartfelt advocacy, the Run for Respect and Inclusion invites all to join in celebrating women's empowerment through sport.
For teams and groups looking for space at the event venue, arrangements can be made by contacting organizers ahead of time. This inclusive race not only celebrates athleticism but also fosters community solidarity against gender-based violence.
