For over four decades, runners have flocked to Bermuda's sun-drenched shores each January for an unforgettable running experience during the Chubb Bermuda Triangle Challenge. This three-day extravaganza offers diverse options catering to all levels of fitness and ambition: a mile race, a 10k walk/run, half marathon, full marathon, or both in the Half or Full Bermuda Triangle Challenge. The PwC Bermuda Marathon course is meticulously designed for those seeking World Athletics certification as they prepare for prestigious races like Boston. Starting at the historic Royal Naval Dockyard and finishing in downtown Hamilton, runners traverse a picturesque island tour that showcases Bermuda's stunning landscapes and vibrant culture. The milder January climate, with average highs of 70°F and lows around 60°F, provides ideal conditions to escape harsh winter weather elsewhere. The PwC Bermuda Half Marathon serves as an excellent training ground for spring marathons like Boston or London, offering a taste of the island's charm while providing runners with essential pacing practice. Both courses are enhanced by well-placed support stations and entertainment along the way, including refreshing rum stops to keep spirits high during challenging stretches. Post-race festivities feature lively celebrations that bring together participants from around the globe, creating an inclusive atmosphere where everyone can unwind and share their experiences over delicious local cuisine and music. The Chubb Bermuda Triangle Challenge isn't just a race; it's a complete run-cation experience designed for those who want to explore Bermuda’s beauty while pushing their personal limits. Can you conquer the Bermuda Triangle Challenge? Join us in January and find out!
