About the Event

On March 13, 2027, runners will gather at Grand Oak Elementary School for the Christina Latini Memorial 8K. This moving race honors the memory of Christina Latini, who touched countless lives with her vibrant spirit before passing away too soon.
The event is more than a run; it's an opportunity to support Operation Sweet Tooth, a non-profit organization founded by Christina’s parents in her honor. Their mission is clear: to uplift and assist children facing hardships such as illness, poverty, or displacement within the Huntersville community and beyond.
Participants will navigate through scenic routes around Grand Oak Elementary School while raising funds for toys, school supplies, and essential items that directly benefit local youth. Since its inception, Operation Sweet Tooth has made significant strides in providing over 5,000 toys to children's hospitals and numerous other organizations dedicated to helping those in need.
Join this meaningful event not just as a runner but as an advocate for change, celebrating Christina’s legacy while making a tangible difference in the lives of less fortunate children. For more information or to get involved beyond race day, visit www.operationsweettooth.org or follow them on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
Registration is open now at www.operationsweettooth.org.
