Chiltern Ridge Classic 50K

Experience an iconic ultra race through the breathtaking Chilterns countryside. This challenging course takes runners on a scenic journey along the ridgeline trails between Ivinghoe Beacon and Whiteleaf Hill, offering stunning views at every turn. Starting from Berkhamsted, participants will traverse diverse landscapes including lush woodlands, rolling hills, and open heathland as they make their way to Ashridge.
The route continues through picturesque villages before reaching the summit of Ivinghoe Beacon, where runners can pause to take in panoramic vistas stretching across the surrounding countryside. From there, it's a winding descent into Coombe Hill, another high point offering breathtaking views and a chance for runners to reflect on their journey so far.
Finally, as daylight begins to wane, participants will make their way through Whiteleaf, known not only for its natural beauty but also for the striking chalk figure carved into the hillside. This ultra is more than just a race; it's an immersive experience that showcases some of the finest trail running in England.
