Chelmsford Brew Co 10th birthday 10k trail run and hike

Celebrate a decade of exceptional ale production with this unique one-off event! Whether you're an avid trail runner or prefer a leisurely hike, there's something for everyone. The route is designed as a GPX/Strava track and features a detailed narrative guide to enhance your experience.
Participants can choose between two options: the relaxed hike or the competitive trail run. This year’s course takes runners in reverse direction of the traditional May event, offering new challenges and scenic views along the way. Both routes will lead you through picturesque landscapes, winding trails, and charming countryside settings.
Upon completing the race, all participants are invited to enjoy a complimentary drink and packet of crisps at the Brewery, where they’ll also receive a finisher's medal as a memento of this special occasion. The event coincides with an exciting beer festival celebrating 10 years of exceptional brewing.
Supporting food trucks will be on-site for both runners and spectators alike, providing delicious options to indulge in after crossing the finish line. Limited edition race T-shirts and vests inspired by the brewery’s series are available for purchase at £20 (cash or PayPal accepted).
Due to limited parking near the venue until 6pm onwards, we recommend alternative modes of transportation such as bicycles, scooters, walking, or local bus services. For those driving, consider parking nearby in The Vineyards or on residential streets and walk to the start line.
Registration begins at 12:45 PM inside the brewery, with the hike starting promptly at 13:15 PM followed by the run at 13:45 PM. Finishers will need to visit a checkpoint where their entry time is recorded before collecting their complimentary drink from bar staff.
