Challenge Orvin Louptière Trainel (COLT)

On August 15, 2027, the Race Against Time invites athletes of all disciplines to converge on a unique circuit designed for trail runners, mountain bikers, gravel cyclists, and hikers. This multi-faceted challenge aims to bring together competitors in an equitable competition where each discipline starts with a staggered handicap start based on expected completion times.
The race begins with the marchers setting off first, followed by trail runners one hour later, then pairs of trail runners and mountain bikers 45 minutes after that. Finally, solo cyclists begin their journey 45 minutes behind the paired teams. The objective is to see who crosses the finish line first, regardless of discipline.
Participants can choose to compete individually or form mixed-discipline teams with up to four members in hiking/trail running and two pairs for mountain biking/gravel cycling. This event offers a dynamic blend of endurance challenges on varied terrain, making it an exciting day out for athletes looking to push their limits against the clock and each other.
