Cederberg Traverse Ultra

Immerse yourself in the rugged beauty of South Africa's Cederberg Wilderness during the three-day Cedergreen Traverse adventure from October 15 to 17, 2027. This challenging weekend experience offers runners a variety of distances and terrains, ranging from the grueling 110km route to the more leisurely 21km fun run.
The main event is the iconic 100miler (110km), which starts at dawn on Friday, taking you through dramatic mountain landscapes and fiery red rock formations. The race also features a night ultra option for those seeking an adrenaline rush under starlit skies. All races begin and conclude at Sanddrif Holiday Resort.
The 60km route offers runners breathtaking vistas of the Cederberg's unique geology, including its famous cracks and arches. This day run finishes back at the starting line in Sanddrif by early evening. For those who prefer to explore under moonlight, the 50km Night Ultra kicks off later that same night.
Participants will enjoy well-stocked refuel stations along the way, medical support, and marshals stationed strategically throughout the course. The event includes a race garment from First Ascent Cederberg Wines and a finishers potjie on Sunday morning to celebrate your achievement with fellow runners.
