Catolés Runners 2ª Edição

The Catolés Runners 2026 returns for its second edition on December 20, 2026, offering runners and walkers the chance to explore the vibrant community of Catolés in Abaíra, Bahia. Participants can choose from three distances: a family-friendly 4km walk, an energetic 6km run, or the challenging 14km course that winds through scenic landscapes.
The race begins at 7:00 AM sharp with a ceremonial start on Praça João Hipólito Rodrigues, setting the tone for a day filled with local spirit and community support. Along the route, runners will find hydration stations and medical assistance to ensure everyone's safety and comfort throughout the event.
Post-race festivities include breakfast treats and exciting prize giveaways, adding an extra layer of excitement beyond just crossing the finish line. Top male and female athletes in both overall standings and age categories will receive trophies for their hard-earned achievements, while all participants who complete any distance within the allotted time will be awarded a commemorative medal.
This event not only celebrates athletic competition but also highlights the warm hospitality and picturesque scenery of Catolés.
