About the Event

Catamount Ultra returns for its 13th year on June 26, 2027, offering runners an unforgettable journey through Vermont's scenic highlands. The race starts and finishes at the picturesque Trapp Family Lodge, nestled outside of Stowe, VT. Participants will traverse a 25k course that winds along wide, hard-packed dirt trails, rolling through verdant pastures and lush hardwood forests. This well-maintained trail system is home to maple sugar tap lines, ready for spring tapping, adding an extra layer of charm to the landscape. The route circumnavigates Mount Mansfield, Vermont's highest peak, providing breathtaking views at every turn. For those seeking a greater challenge, the 50k race option involves completing two laps of the scenic loop. Both distances offer runners a unique blend of natural beauty and challenging terrain.
