The Carnival Chase 10K, 3K & 1.2K Family Fun Run offers runners of all ages and abilities the chance to enjoy scenic routes through Warminster Town Park on September 19, 2027. The event kicks off with a picturesque start by the boating lake and takes participants down country lanes, tracks, and trails, featuring only kissing gates along the way.
The Carnival Chase is an integral part of the local community's celebration for Warminster Carnival, providing both competitive racing options and family-friendly activities like wheelchair and buggy fun runs. The 10K race starts at 10:30 AM followed by the 3K run at 10:45 AM, with a kids' event starting at 10:50 AM.
Competitors will enjoy refreshments available for purchase throughout the park and two water stations along the longer route. All participants receive medals upon completion of their respective distances, while top finishers in various categories take home additional prizes.
Warminster Town Park offers ample facilities including toilets and first aid coverage to ensure a safe environment for all attendees. Parking is readily accessible with several public car parks available within walking distance; however, competitors are encouraged to consider car sharing or alternative modes of transportation to minimize traffic congestion around the event site.
Registration opens at 9:00 AM on race day, allowing runners ample time to collect their numbers and prepare before the start times. Race entries close by September 12th unless full capacity is reached earlier; no late registrations will be accepted after this date.
