The Buttertart Trot 2026 takes place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 8:00 AM EDT in Midland, Ontario, Canada, starting and finishing at the historic Sainte Marie Among the Hurons site. Event Logistics & Participant Information:

Race Kit Pickup: Friday, June 12 — 5:00-7:00 PM (Early Bird). Saturday, June 13 — 6:00 AM reopens.
All participants must return by 11:00 AM.
Registration: Sold out for all distances (5 km, 10 km, half marathon runners, half marathon walkers, Kids Fun Run). Spots sell out six weeks in advance.
Location: Midland, Ontario. Start/finish at Sainte Marie Among the Hurons historic site.
Course: Scenic route through Midland’s waterfront and trails.
Included in Registration: Race bib, water and gel stations, finisher’s medal, swag bag (more info to come). Kids Fun Run is free (no cost).
Participants: 749 registered to date.
