For those seeking more adventure, the 15k course weaves through varied terrain over multiple loops. This race offers flexibility and can be enjoyed as either a leisurely day hike or a competitive run depending on your preference. Participants will experience a mix of truck trails and horse paths that wind through dense woodland.
The crown jewel is undoubtedly the 50k Ultra Marathon, an epic journey covering nearly 32 miles with over 4,600 feet of elevation gain across three loops. This course challenges even seasoned runners with its steep ascents and rugged terrain. Safety measures are in place to ensure participants can refuel or withdraw safely after each loop if needed.
Post-race festivities include a generous spread of fresh grilled food available for all competitors by donation, supporting the Brookfield Central School Senior Class. The event also features exciting prizes: $250 will be awarded to any runner who sets a new course record in either the 15k or 50k distance.
