BRM600 - Voyage aux Centres de la France - Edition n°3 - Parcours inversé

The BRM 600 "Voyage aux Centres de la France" offers cyclists an epic journey of 600 kilometers, to be completed within 40 hours. This inverted route starts from Fleury-les-Aubrais and takes riders through the heart of France, beginning with a scenic passage through Sologne before reaching Saint-Aignan-sur-Cher, known for its animal park. The course then leads cyclists past Valençay's château and vineyards, where they can indulge in local wines responsibly.
Couples will find a charming stop at Saint-Valentin to exchange kisses as a celebratory gesture while passing through this romantic spot. Further along the route are picturesque villages like Tranzault and La Châtre before reaching the historic Bec d'Allier, marking the starting point of cycling along the Loire River.
This event is not only scenic but also strategic for those aiming to qualify for the prestigious Paris-Brest-Paris (PBP) 2027. Along the way, cyclists will encounter several control points essential for stamp collectors and PBP qualifiers. The course includes various checkpoints in towns such as Saint-Aignan-sur-Cher, Valençay, Châteaumeillant, Culan, Huriel, Meillant, Apremont-sur-Allier, and Sancerre.
Participants will ride autonomously on open roads following Audax Club Parisien rules. Detailed GPX files are available for download from the CJF Cyclotourisme et Marche website two days before the event begins. The race provides ample support with departure and arrival supplies, baggage storage options at the start line, and three nearby parking lots within a 100-meter radius.
For comfort and convenience, there is access to showers, a rest area available until Sunday evening (June 6th) at 9 PM, and bike racks for secure bicycle storage. The departure point is conveniently located just 1.6 kilometers from the Fleury-les-Aubrais train station, making it easy for participants to travel by rail if needed.
