Bright Lights 5K & Fun Run

Experience the magic of the Bright Lights 5K and Fun Run on November 24, 2026, just one day before Thanksgiving. This fourth annual race winds through the enchanting Daniel Stowe Conservancy during its Holiday Lights display, offering runners a unique opportunity to enjoy stunning seasonal decorations ahead of their public debut. Race participants will receive a custom ornament for completing the Fun Run or a finisher medal for tackling the 5K distance, along with eligibility for one of three custom top-three race medals. The event includes free access to the Holidays at the Garden lights display from 7pm-9pm, giving you exclusive early viewing before it opens to the public.
The course itself is diverse, featuring paved roads, natural trails, and garden pathways that wind through the conservancy’s scenic landscape. While not officially stroller-friendly, determined runners with hiking or running strollers can still participate though they should expect a challenge due to the varied terrain. Join this festive event for an unforgettable pre-Thanksgiving run under twinkling lights and vibrant holiday cheer.
