Bradleys Exmouth 5km & 10km - Autumn

Set against the stunning backdrop of Exmouth’s picturesque seafront, the Bradleys Exmouth 5km & 10km race is an annual celebration that has been delighting runners for eight consecutive years. This flat and fast course offers a perfect blend of scenic coastal views and a lively atmosphere, making it a favorite among both seasoned athletes and newcomers.
The event takes place twice each year—once in the spring on June 7th, 2026, and again in autumn on September 27th, 2026. Both races follow an identical route along Exmouth’s charming seafront, allowing participants to compare their times across seasons and see if they can improve as the year progresses.
The race begins at Sideshore, where runners are greeted by the refreshing ocean breeze before heading up towards Orcombe Point. After a loop around the flag pole, racers will make their way along the full length of the beachfront path. For those tackling the 10km distance, this route is repeated for an additional lap; meanwhile, 5km participants will split off to finish near Sideshore.
The course itself winds through well-marked footpaths that are carefully maintained and clearly signposted with fluorescent arrows, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience. Spectators line the seafront throughout the race, cheering on runners every step of the way, creating an incredibly supportive environment.
Chip timing ensures accurate results for all participants, while thorough marshalling guarantees smooth operation along the entire route. The event is fully committed to sustainability; entrants can opt into a "No Medal" category to reduce waste and costs.
Race day logistics are streamlined with early registration starting at 07:30 AM for pre-registered runners, followed by baggage drop from 08:00 AM onwards. Pre-race briefings begin promptly at 08:55 AM before the race kicks off at 09:00 AM.
Trophies are awarded to top male and female finishers in several age categories—Overall (1st, 2nd, 3rd), 15-39 years old, 40-54 years old, 55-69 years old, and over 70. This ensures that every runner has a chance to shine.
