Bracknell Samaritans 10K/5K/Kids' Race

Join us on Sunday, June 20, 2027, for the 44th Bracknell Samaritans Run at Kings Academy Easthampstead Park. This annual community event features three exciting race options: a challenging 5K run, an invigorating 10K distance, and a beloved Teddy Bear Kids Run designed specifically for young participants.
The main races start with the pre-race warm-up beginning at 9:50 AM followed by the official start time of 10:00 AM. The courses wind through picturesque Peacock Meadows and Jennetts Park before entering Tarman’s Copse, offering runners a mix of flat terrain and gentle inclines across grassy fields, gravel paths, and short stretches of pavement.
The route is carefully measured to ensure accuracy for both competitive athletes and recreational participants alike. Spectators will have ample opportunities to cheer on runners throughout the course's wide-open spaces designed with safety in mind.
Entry fees vary based on age group: £16 for 5K U16, £26 for adult 5K, and £28 for adult 10K. Early bird discounts are available for members of clubs that officially promote and support the event until June 19 at 5 PM or earlier if capacity is reached.
On race day, entries will be accepted from 8:30 AM to 9:45 AM with an additional £3 charge applied to on-the-day registrations. Payment can be made via cash or credit/debit card.
The Teddy Bear Kids Run offers a fun and memorable experience for children aged approximately three to ten years old. This event includes chip timing, individual running bibs, and medals upon completion of the 2-loop course around the grassed sports field starting at 9:30 AM with a 20-minute time limit.
For both main races and the Teddy Bear Kids Run, parents or guardians are responsible for supervising their children. The event is not suitable for wheelchair users in either race category but pushchairs are permitted during the kids' run.
