Bournemouth International Triathlon

Bournemouth International Triathlon invites triathletes from around the globe to experience its scenic coastal course on September 12, 2027. Nestled along Bournemouth Pier's west side and set against the backdrop of West Cliff Gardens, this event offers a picturesque setting for both sprint and standard distance races.
The swim leg begins at the award-winning blue flag beach just under the zigzag path of West Cliff Gardens, providing athletes with stunning ocean views as they take on either 750 meters or 1500 meters in calm waters. The bike course then heads inland towards Ringwood, skirting the edge of The New Forest for a fast and challenging ride filled with periods of elevation that test even seasoned pros.
Competitors return to Bournemouth's promenade for the run segment, where they are greeted by flat and speedy terrain along the seafront—a runner’s paradise offering breathtaking views. Whether you're an Olympian or a beginner, this event promises an unforgettable race experience set against one of Britain's most beautiful coastlines.
