Last One Standing is an exhilarating endurance challenge held at the picturesque Ästad Vingårds estate, inviting runners to push their limits over varying distances. Participants can choose from one mile, half marathon, full marathon, or ultra options as they navigate a 6.7 km looped course that winds through stunning natural surroundings.
The event unfolds with staggered starts every hour beginning at 9:00 AM sharp. Runners who complete each lap on time are eligible to continue onto the next round of competition, starting fresh at either 10:00 AM or subsequent hourly intervals thereafter. Those unable to finish a full loop before their designated start time will be out of contention but can still enjoy watching from the sidelines as others battle it out.
As more and more participants drop off due to fatigue or pace constraints, the atmosphere intensifies with each passing hour, culminating in an epic showdown between the final few competitors. The event concludes when just one runner remains standing, completing a decisive last lap under the watchful eyes of spectators and fellow runners who have cheered them on throughout.
In case of unforeseen circumstances that force cancellation or postponement, all registrants will be automatically transferred to any rescheduled dates without additional cost or hassle. This unique format ensures an unforgettable experience for every participant, blending individual achievement with communal support in a race unlike any other.
