Blue Events Christmas Swims

Swim Your Way Through the Winter at Christmas Swim 2026!
Dive into a festive season tradition with our non-competitive swim event on December 27, 2026. Enjoy up to four hours of swimming in our heated outdoor pool, where temperatures hover comfortably around 25°C. The setting is picturesque, offering stunning views of the River Waveney as you glide through the water.
Choose your own pace and distance: Whether you prefer a leisurely swim or pushing yourself with repeated sets of 100 meters, this event caters to all levels. Swim at one of four designated lane speeds, ranging from relaxed conversations in the pool to more intense training sessions like the festive 10k (100x100s) and the challenging lido distance of 12k (lido 100x100s). Alternatively, you can opt for a solid four-hour swim if that suits your goals.
Entry includes a complimentary barista hot drink to warm up after your swim. The event is open to participants aged 13 and above; however, those between the ages of 13 and 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. While not required to stay in the pool with them, adults should ensure their young swimmers are comfortable swimming in cooler temperatures.
Start times for this year's event are set for 8:00 AM and 12:30 PM. Tickets cost £30 per person and help support Beccles Lido Limited, a registered charity dedicated to providing community access to water-based activities (Registered Charity No 1132102). Join us in celebrating the holiday season with a unique blend of exercise and camaraderie.
