BEYOND BRISTOL 55KM ULTRA & 25KM TRAIL RUNS

Beyond Bristol by WILD DEER EVENTS returns for its third installment on Saturday, April 17, 2027, promising an even more exhilarating and expansive trail adventure. This isn’t your typical city run; it’s a journey through hidden green spaces and untrodden paths that most locals have yet to discover.
Participants will start and finish in the heart of Bristol at The Amphitheatre (BS1 5LL), embarking on a route that meanders along the Avon River, weaving through urban parks and historic trails. Both the 55km and 25km routes offer runners an intimate connection with nature while showcasing the city's rich tapestry.
The longer 55km course takes adventurers beyond the usual boundaries of Bristol, starting alongside the river before venturing into Eastville Park and along the old railway line for over 10 kilometers. The route then circles back through picturesque riverside paths under Clifton Suspension Bridge, offering panoramic views from every vantage point.
Runners will encounter diverse terrains including woodland trails in Leigh Wood Nature Reserve, adding a layer of challenge to the scenic journey. As they cross into Clifton and loop around the city center, the finish line at The Amphitheatre marks not just an end but a celebration of what runners have experienced along their unique path.
