BeckBusters 10km 2027

On October 3, 2027, BeckBusters returns for its tenth anniversary as one of Yorkshire's premier running events. The flat and fast course winds through picturesque countryside around Bishop Monkton Primary School, offering runners the opportunity to challenge their personal bests or simply enjoy a scenic run.
Starting on a quiet country road, participants will venture into the heart of rural North Yorkshire, following the River Ure and Ripon Canal for much of the route. The race then passes through Littlethorpe, a charming village that adds character and charm to this multi-terrain journey. Runners can anticipate varied terrain, from roads and footpaths to trails, providing an engaging course experience.
Upon crossing the finish line back at Bishop Monkton Primary School, participants will be greeted with energy bars and fresh fruit. For those who register by August 15, 2027, a commemorative medal is available as part of their entry package. The event also features competitive prizes for overall male and female winners, first-place age category finishers, school parents, and local residents.
Supporting the community spirit, entrants can indulge in freshly cooked bacon sandwiches and homemade cakes at the primary school before or after the race. All proceeds from BeckBusters go towards enhancing educational facilities and providing essential equipment for Bishop Monkton Primary School through the Friends of Bishop Monkton Primary School charity (Registered Charity 1050824).
With a focus on both performance and enjoyment, this event is open to runners aged over 15 years as of October 3, 2027.
