BeAthlit Lake Run - December 2026 Edition

Lake Run, hosted by BeAthlit, immerses runners in the serene beauty of Bengaluru's water bodies. Each edition takes place at a different lake, offering unique trails and scenic routes that change with every race. This series isn't just about running; it’s an experience that celebrates the city’s natural landscapes.
Participants can choose from several lakes such as Jakkur Lake, Sarakki Lake, Sankey Tank Lake, and Agara Lake for their run. The event format is designed to be flexible: runners register online and then head out on a self-guided route of 1.6K, 3K, 5K, or 10K at the chosen lake between 7 AM and 9 AM. This timing ensures that participants can enjoy the tranquility before the lakes close.
Runners are encouraged to track their run using fitness apps like Strava, Garmin, Google Fit, Nike Run Club, or RunKeeper. Upon completing your route, simply show proof of your activity to BeAthlit’s team at the lake entrance and collect your medal there and then. For those who complete five Lake Runs by December 2026, a special "Legend of Lakes" composite medal awaits.
The event is designed with minimal impact on the lakes’ environment—no structures or additional facilities are provided inside the parks to maintain their natural beauty. Participants should bring their own hydration and support for this community-run experience. BeAthlit’s team will be present at each lake entrance from 6 AM to 9:30 AM, ready to verify runs and distribute medals.
Join Lake Run on December 6, 2026, and become part of a journey that honors the city's lakes while challenging yourself in stunning natural settings.
