Be Endurance Open Water Swim - Induction - 9AM

Welcome to Luxborough Lakes, where newcomers and aspiring swimmers gather for the Be Endurance Open Water Swim Induction. This essential session is designed specifically for those who haven't yet joined our community of open water enthusiasts at Luxborough Lakes or any other lakes we manage.
Scheduled for October 3, 2026, from 9:00 to 9:30 AM, this induction offers a comprehensive introduction to the unique challenges and joys of swimming in an open-water setting. Participants will meet with our experienced instructors who provide crucial safety guidance and technique tips tailored to beginners.
Please arrive by 8:50 AM to ensure you have ample time for registration before your session begins. Our friendly registration team will guide you through check-in procedures and direct you to the waiting area near the lake where you’ll prepare for your induction.
Swimmers are encouraged but not required to wear wetsuits, which can provide additional warmth in cooler water temperatures. If you don’t have a tow float, we offer this essential safety equipment free of charge during non-wetsuit swims.
This induction is mandatory and serves as the first step towards becoming an independent swimmer at Luxborough Lakes. It’s your chance to learn about our protocols, get acquainted with the local conditions, and gain confidence in your abilities before embarking on solo adventures in open water.
