Join us on December 31, 2026, for the 38th edition of the Sport2000 Bart Langedijk Oudejaarsloop. This festive race offers three exciting distances to suit all levels and ages: a fun-filled 1 km kids run, a casual 5 km gezelligheidsloop, and an invigorating 10 km competitive event. The race takes place in the picturesque dunes of Den Helder, providing runners with stunning views and fresh sea breezes. The route is designed to showcase some of the most beautiful coastal scenery along the North Sea coast, making it a memorable experience for both local participants and visitors alike. Sport2000 Bart Langedijk, the event's main sponsor celebrating its 8th anniversary this year, offers more than just race day excitement. Participants who pre-register will have the chance to win high-quality Craft hard running T-shirts by providing their size during registration. Winners can pick up their prizes at Sport2000 Bart Langedijk in Den Helder on December 29 from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM, or they'll be available alongside start numbers when you collect them the day of the race. Your entry number also serves as a discount voucher for shopping at our sponsor's store. The event is organized with care to keep costs low and make it free for children up to age 12 thanks to Sport2000 Bart Langedijk Den Helder’s generous support. Both start and finish lines are located at FC Den Helder on Streepjesberg, ensuring a convenient and well-organized race day experience. Pre-registration opens immediately and continues until December 24, or earlier if the maximum capacity of 1000 participants is reached. You can also register in person at Sport2000 Bart Langedijk on December 29. Remember that same-day registration will not be available on the race day itself, so make sure to sign up ahead of time to secure your spot and take advantage of all the benefits this beloved local tradition offers. This event promises a joyful atmosphere filled with camaraderie and festive spirit as runners gather for one last energetic outing before the new year begins.
