The 19th Bad Harzburger Bergmarathon is a traditional and challenging running event taking place on Pentecost Saturday, May 23, 2026, at the entrance to the Harz mountains. Runners, walkers, and Nordic walkers are invited to test themselves across various distances, including the Marathon, Half Marathon, Active, Fit, Taster, and Bambini runs. The scenic, forest-rich course around Bad Harzburg features an ascent reaching up to 618 meters above sea level, providing runners on the Half Marathon and Marathon routes with a direct view of the Brocken, the legendary Witches' Mountain. The event boasts a unique atmosphere, with the start and finish line located on the beautiful natural grounds of the Harzburg Racing Club racecourse.
