Baby Shippey

Get ready to tackle the rugged trails of Baby Shippey, scheduled for April 25, 2027. This challenging course will test your endurance with steep ascents and descents that feature large rocks, boulders, and narrow switchbacks on rough off-camber sections. The B.S. Half Marathon covers approximately 13 miles with over 2,390 feet of elevation gain, while the shorter but no less demanding B.S. 10k spans about 6 miles with just under 1,100 feet of climbing.
Both courses include fast jeep roads and primitive trails that will push your limits as you navigate through loose gravel and steep terrain. Aid stations are strategically placed at key intervals to keep you fueled throughout the race: Mile 4.8 for the Half Marathon and Mile 3 for the 10k, with a final cutoff time of 12 PM.
Race day festivities kick off early in Cub World Building with packet pickup from 6:45 AM to 7:50 AM for both distances. The half marathon starts at 8:00 AM followed by the 10k start at 9:00 AM, ensuring a full morning of racing and camaraderie.
After crossing the finish line, join fellow runners for post-race festivities from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Enjoy food, ice cream, and popsicles while cheering on your peers or relaxing by the creek below the finish bridge. Every participant will receive a custom Baby Shippey pint glass as part of their registration package.
Registration for this event is now open with bib transfers allowed until April 21, 2027. No refunds or deferrals are available once that date passes. Don't miss out on this unique and challenging race experience!
