AV Spirit Wintercup

On December 6, 2026, AV Spirit will host the 282nd edition of the Wintercup Run at Sportpark Langezand. This long-standing tradition offers runners and walkers of all ages an opportunity to enjoy a festive atmosphere amidst winter scenery.
Participants can choose from several distances: children aged up to 16 years have options for an 800m Kidsrun or a 2 km youth run, both starting at 10:30 am. Older participants can opt for the recreational 5.050 km and 10.320 km runs beginning at 10:48 am. A separate walking event of 5.050 km starts simultaneously.
Early registration with a discount is available until December 4, 2026. Fees are €3 for those up to age 16 and €5 for older participants. Day-of-registration fees increase slightly to €4 for ages up to 16 and €7 for adults. Registration on the day of the event begins at 9:30 am.
All kids who complete the Kidsrun will receive a medal, while those participating in five out of six Wintercup events throughout the season earn a special commemorative item. This year’s recreational runs feature competitive elements with rankings compiled over the first five races from October to February based on four best performances. Awards for these categories are presented before the final race in March 2027.
Participants can also purchase an entire-season package, which includes automatic entry into all Wintercup events without needing separate registration each time.

Sportpark Langezand welcomes runners and walkers of all levels to experience this charming winter event.
