Atheon

Atheon Last Rucker Standing returns to Pegram, Tennessee on March 6, 2027 at the scenic HardWin Family Farm. This endurance challenge sees competitors shouldering rucksacks weighing either 30 or 20 pounds for men and women respectively, embarking on a relentless loop course of approximately 2.5 miles with around 800 feet of elevation gain.
Starting promptly at 7:00 AM, each hour marks the beginning of a new evolution as competitors aim to complete their lap before the next whistle sounds. Should you fail to return to the corral in time for your next turn, your day comes to an end. The event continues until just one competitor remains standing.
The HardWin Family Farm offers a rugged yet picturesque setting with rolling hills and lush greenery. Competitors must navigate through varied terrain that includes stretches of woodland trails and open fields. A small creek along the route can hold water after heavy rains, adding another layer to this already demanding test of endurance.
Support is provided by course officials stationed at key points around the loop, ensuring fair play and safety throughout the day. Each competitor has an assigned 10x10 canopy space for staging gear and resting between laps. The event hub is a roped-off corral where every lap starts and finishes, with bib numbers tracking each participant's progress.
The ultimate prize is a custom axe etched in gold with Atheon’s emblem and the year of victory. To claim it, the final competitor must complete one last solitary loop under the watchful eye of all spectators and fellow competitors who have been following their journey through HardTracks live race app coverage.
Prepare for an unforgettable day filled with raw determination as runners push against both physical limits and time constraints to see if they can stand until just before dusk.
