Hawke’s Bay Arena Hyrox Sim Series #2 presents the perfect dress rehearsal for athletes preparing for the main event just four weeks away. Set to take place on February 13, 2027, at Rodney Green Arenas in Napier, this simulation offers a full-scale workout experience without the pressure of competition or station judges. Participants will navigate through eight identical stations as they would during the actual race, testing their pacing and transitions under professional timing conditions. The course includes familiar challenges like sled pushes and pulls, burpees, rowing, farmer's carries, lunges, wall balls, and SkiErg exercises, each with specified weights for men, women, and mixed categories. Athletes can choose between Half Simulation (8 x 500m runs plus the eight stations) or Full Simulation (8 x 1km runs plus the eight stations), depending on their training goals. Doubles teams are also welcome to race together, honing their communication skills under fatigue conditions. Registration costs $60 and includes a professionally timed simulation with no station judges present. This event provides an invaluable opportunity for athletes to assess their current fitness level, identify areas needing improvement, and refine strategies before the main competition in March.
