ANTI DRUG MARATHON

On November 1, 2026, the vibrant city of Chennai will host Rise Up Youth 2026 — a powerful and inspiring 5KM run aimed at promoting drug-free living and encouraging healthier lifestyles among young people. Organized by the Youth Wing of Tamil Nadu Vanigar Sangangalin Peramaippu (TNVSP) in collaboration with Sportena Academy, this event brings together participants from all walks of life to support a cause that resonates deeply within communities.
The run takes place at Besant Nagar and is open to everyone regardless of age or gender. Participants will enjoy scenic routes along the coastal area while contributing to a meaningful initiative. The atmosphere promises to be uplifting with families, friends, and community members joining forces for this important cause.
In addition to promoting awareness about drug-free living, Rise Up Youth 2026 offers participants an array of benefits including t-shirts, finisher medals, certificates, breakfast, refreshments, BIP (Body in Play) sessions, Zumba classes, physio support, and goodie bags. These incentives aim to encourage active participation while enhancing the overall experience.
Cash awards totaling Rs. 175,000 are up for grabs with separate prizes for men and women:

- Second Place: Rs. 25,000
- Third Place: Rs. 12,500
