Ameris Bank Jacksonville Marathon

On December 12, 2026, runners will converge at The Bolles School on San Jose Boulevard for an exhilarating race day featuring three distinct distances: Marathon, Half-Marathon, and 5K. This USATF certified event offers a unique opportunity to qualify for the prestigious Boston Marathon if spots are available.
The course, known as one of the fastest in the South with digital mile markers throughout, is designed to challenge runners while providing an optimal racing experience. Temperatures typically hover around a comfortable 56 degrees Fahrenheit, making it ideal for peak performance. Participants can expect water and Gatorade every two miles along the route.
Custom-designed large finisher medals are awarded to all race participants in each distance category. Marathon and Half-Marathon runners receive technical half zip shirts as part of their swag package, while 5K competitors will be given long sleeve shirts. Race results are available via live timing with bib/tag systems ensuring accurate tracking throughout the event.
The marathon course record stands at an impressive 2:14:33 for men and 2:36:45 for women, offering a challenging yet achievable goal for serious runners looking to set new personal bests. The Half-Marathon boasts equally competitive times with records of 1:02:40 for men and 1:13:39 for women.
Runners will finish the race on The Bolles School's stadium track, providing a memorable end to their journey. All participants can look forward to individual post-race photos and prize money awards for top Marathon and Half-Marathon competitors.
Proceeds from this event support high school cross country and track programs in Duval County as well as summer camp scholarship initiatives. Additionally, funds are allocated towards the construction of new running trails within Jacksonville's vibrant community.
